Mar Azul SpaBook an appointment at Mar Azul Spa before you leave the ship — they offer free port pickup. A 60-minute deep tissue massage costs around $55 USD. You'll feel extraordinary for the rest of the day. Their English-friendly booking team makes it completely stress-free.

Hours 3–4: Eat and Explore Downtown

Hours 5–6: La Bufadora (with a taxi)

La Bufadora is 30 minutes each way. Taxis cost about $20–25 each way from the port, or negotiate a round-trip with waiting time. Check your all-aboard time carefully — if your ship leaves at 5pm, be heading back no later than 4pm. The geyser is always worth it.

What to Skip

The cruise ship's organized shore excursions are often overpriced and rushed. Taxis are plentiful and cheaper. The immediate pier area has tourist traps — walk two blocks north and you're in real Ensenada.
